Getting to Know the People Behind CS Group

At CS Group, great IT support isn’t just about technology, it’s about the people who deliver it. That’s why we’re launching our Meet the Team series, giving you an inside look at the talented individuals who make up the CS Group family. From managing client relationships to keeping businesses secure and running smoothly, each team member brings something unique to the table. First up, we sit down with Rob Woodrow, who joined CS Group in March 2025 and is responsible for nurturing Sentinel’s relationships with existing customers, to find out what drives him, what he loves about his role, and how he’d sum up the CS culture in just one word.

Robert Woodrow - Client Success Partner for Sentinel Data

Rob joined CS Group in March 2025 and is responsible for managing Sentinel’s relationships with existing customers.  He sat down with us to answer these quick-fire questions.

What do you like most about your role at CS Group?

Building trusted relationships and making a genuine difference for customers. I enjoy getting to know how each business works, then translating that into practical IT improvements, whether that’s tightening security, streamlining support, or planning the next step in their roadmap. When customers feel listened to and see results, that’s the best part of the job.

Why do you think that outsourcing IT support is such a great solution for small companies?

Because it gives them access to a full team of specialists, without the cost and complexity of hiring in-house. Small businesses still face the same risks as larger organisations (cyber threats, downtime, compliance), so having proactive monitoring, structured processes, and expert guidance means fewer surprises and faster fixes. It also lets the leadership team focus on running the business, knowing IT is being looked after properly.
